MORTON defender Thomas O’Ware says he’s undecided on where his future lies next year.

The centre-back, who has been captain for most of the year with club captain Lee Kilday out injured, has been with the Ton since 2011.

The defender’s current deal runs out in the summer, as do large numbers of the current squad.

Only Robert Thomson, Bob McHugh and Michael Tidser have first-team contracts that run on until June 2019, with the rest of the team’s deals expire at the end of the season.

Duffy revealed to the Tele recently that talks with players regarding deals for next season were under way.

O’Ware has been a key figure for Morton in recent years, and has made 36 appearances this season, scoring on four occasions.

And the 25-year-old admitted he didn’t want to hurry into any decisions.

He told the Tele: “The gaffer has spoken to me but I haven’t decided what I’ll be doing yet.

“I’ve got a couple of weeks to clear that up.

“I’m not going to rush into anything, I’ll see how it goes.”
