Greacen wants to repeat Ayr's win over Pars

TON SKIPPER GREACEN: He is looking forward to a hectic spell of games in March.
MORTON skipper Stewart Greacen is hoping he and his mates can do to Dunfermline this Saturday at Cappielow what Ayr did to them at East End Park two days ago.
Morton's match with Ross County at Cappielow was called off due to severe frost on Friday afternoon, giving them another unwanted, idle Saturday.
Only two First Division games took place, leaders Dundee extending their advantage with a 1-0 home win over Partick Thistle, while Ayr United sprung a surprise 1-0 away win over the Pars.
Said Greacen: "Fair play to Ayr. It went against the form book. They needed to win and now, hopefully, we can do the same to Dunfermline on Saturday."
The programme has been so disrupted by the weather that Morton now have 10 home games to play out of their last 15 before the end of the season.
"We couldn't ask for more than that. The games can't come quick enough now," said Greacen. "It's going to be midweeks all the way through March."
Saturday's postponement has been something of a double-edge sword. It means that the two Kevins, Finlayson and McKinlay, still have to serve a one-match and two-match ban respectively.
On the other hand, it allows midfielder Erik Paartalu a further week to recover from an ankle knock. Greacen said: "That will be the squad back at full strength now."
And he was looking forward to playing his part in the continuation of some excellent defensive work, evident in the second half of the 2-1 win at Dumfries.
He said: "It's a cliché, I know, but good defence starts at the front. Everyone was working hard all over the park, putting their bodies on the line for the team."
