MORTON will give Ross Forsyth every chance to prove his fitness ahead of their big Scottish Cup tie.

The Cappielow side have been hit by a leg fracture suffered by stand-in left-back Thomas O'Ware while Forsyth has not played since November 12.

However, Grant Evans has reported no ill effects after returning from an ankle ligament injury last week and he is set to start at Fir Park.

Striker Andy Jackson, right, remains sidelined due to a fractured jaw and cheekbone, while midfielder Derek Young is still nursing a slight knock.

Captain Stuart McCaffrey is out for the season and young winger Sean Fitzharris left the club this week.
