Moore's hopes for Wilkie

ALLAN Moore says that Morton supporters can expect to see the best of Kyle Wilkie this season after the midfielder agreed a deal at Cappielow.

The former Hamilton Accies youngster endured an injury-ravaged season last time out, and has also experienced the trauma of administration at first club Stockport.

But having been impressed in pre-season, the Ton boss expects Wilkie to fulfil his potential and deliver a stirring campaign at Cappielow.

Moore said: "He looked good in the pre-season games and he has had a good upbringing from his time down south.

"He can play wide and is also comfortable playing in the centre, so he is another good addition and we are delighted he has agreed to sign for us.

"He had an Achilles injury last season but he is over that now and has looked good. I think we will see the best of Kyle soon."
