DEFENDER Thomas O'Ware is the sixth current player to agree terms for next season after accepting Allan Moore's contract offer, the Tele can reveal.
The 20-year-old had mulled over a new one-year deal offered by the Ton boss but spoke with him on Friday evening to confirm he would be staying at Cappielow.
O'Ware, signed from boys' club Bonnyton Thistle in October 2011, joins Derek Gaston, David O'Brien, Mark McLaughlin, Archie Campbell and Scott Taggart in committing his future to the club.
Moore told the Tele: "Thomas came back to me late on Friday afternoon to say he would be staying on board.
"It was the same sort of situation with Scott Taggart.
"We gave Thomas an opportunity to play first-team football and learn his trade at First Division level.
"Playing for the reserves last season was good for his development as well, no doubt about it. The fact the reserves, or the 'bomb squad' as they're called, have been doing well has helped too.
"Young Thomas progressed well last year and we're hoping that he can progress more again next year and we can get more out of him."
