MORTON manager Allan Moore was pleased to see the likes of Kabba-Modou Cham and Tomas Peciar get 90 minutes under their belts in a bounce match against Motherwell on Tuesday.

First-team squad members Cham, left, Peciar, David O'Brien, Nicolas Caraux, and Tony Wallace were all given the full match at Dalziel Park.

David Hopkin's side lost 2-1, with Gambian frontman Cham scoring the Ton goal, but Moore was delighted with the workout.

The Ton boss told the Tele: "We organised a bounce game at Motherwell and got beat

but played really well.

"It was a good workout. Big Tony, Obri, Tomas and Kabba all needed a game and got the full 90 minutes, as did Nicolas Caraux, who saved a penalty.

"They've put themselves in contention for Saturday. Big Kabba scored a goal and led the line well himself.

"He's learning quickly, his touch was better, his link-up play was good and he looked strong.

"We had the young boys on too.

"They've been training hard and the likes of David Verlaque and Cameron O'Neil did well in the middle of the park."
