INJURED Morton midfielder Michael Miller is gutted to be missing today’s massive League One clash with Dunfermline Athletic.

The versatile 19-year-old is suffering with a mild case of a plantar fasciitis and will not be fit to face the Pars this afternoon.

His last first-team appearance came as a sub in the Ton’s 2-1 victory over Dunfermline at Cappielow on 20 September — and he admits he is devastated to be missing the return match.

He told Tele: “I’m pretty confident we’ll do well today with the boys we’ve got.

“Everybody’s been working really hard on the training ground, putting the work in.

“It’s going to be a big game. This is considered as one of our hardest matches this season and it has come at an important time — I’m gutted to be missing it.

“These are the types of matches you’re desperate to be involved in. My last game was against Dunfermline and we did very well that day.

“I had played most of the games up until then, so it’s been frustrating. Fingers crossed I’m back as soon as I can. We play each team twice home and away so hopefully I’ll have a chance next time.”
