Swansea striker Samuel finished off a flowing counter-attacking move that saw the ball quickly shifted out from the back through Ricki Lamie, Ross Forbes, Michael Tidser and Denny Johnstone.
Duffy felt it was a great goal that didn’t quite receive the praise it merited and suggested it is one worth seeking out and watching again to enjoy in full as it is even better second time around.
The Ton boss told the Tele: “I have to say I thought our second goal was absolutely magnificent. It was one of those ones that we should be taking about much more.
“Ricki [Lamie] just nicked it at the edge of the box, played a lovely little pass to Ross Forbes, Ross played it to Michael, Michael played it to Denny, who crossed it for Alex. The ball never left the floor.
“It was an outstanding counter-attacking goal made by moving the ball quickly and sharply, and a magnificent finish at the end of it.
“No one seemed to mention it too much, but I’ve seen it again – I thought at the time it was a great goal – but it was an even better goal when I watched it right through.
“It was an outstanding goal from start to finish and I would advise anybody to go and have a look at it and see how good it was.”
