George's aim for London Marathon

PB AIM: George Hegarty hopes to set a new personal best at the London Marathon.
MARATHON man George Hegarty of Greenock hopes to do a personal best at next month's London Marathon.
He is aiming to clock three hours 15 minutes - a full 15 minutes better than his previous best.
He said: "My training has been going well and I'm really looking forward to the race."
George, 42, of Inverclyde Athletic Club, has run 15 marathons. His best time was at Edinburgh in 1999. He has run the London Marathon three times and others at Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow and Benidorm.
Originally from Armagh in Northern Ireland, George came to Greenock 11 years ago and has worked at various jobs. He is currently attending James Watt College where he is training to be a carer of special needs adults and children.
