GREENOCK golfer Chris Doak carded an opening round of one under par in the Dubai Desert Classic yesterday.
He made the perfect start with a birdie but needed another one on the penultimate hole to stay in the black after a somewhat up and down day.
Rory McIlroy leads the $2.5m tourney on -9.
