CHRIS Doak fired a superb 68 to surge up the leaderboard in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic yesterday.
The Greenock man goes into today’s third round in good style after picking up four shots during the second day of the big championship.
He bogeyed the first but by the time he’d completed the front nine, four birdies more than wiped that out.
A steady inward nine saw Chris record eight pars plus a birdie three on 17, leaving him five under for the tournament.
