Skaters star in competition

Waterfront Ice Skating Club had several members travel to Ayr to take part in the 10th anniversary Kyle Open Competition.
This was a well supported competition with 243 competitors taking part. Well done to all of the Waterfront skaters.
Results as follows: Beginners Ladies, 11 years: Megan McGeachy 4th, Niamh Jamieson 8th; Beginners Ladies, 12 years: Kayla Dobson 13th; Beginners Ladies, 13 years and over: Carla Godsman 6th, Rebecca Carey 12th; Level 1 Ladies, 12 years and over: Holly Flynn 13th, Lynnsay Martin 16th; Level 2 Ladies, 13years and over: Heather Kilpatrick 12th; Level 5 Ladies: Laura Clarke 4th.
The annual Skate UK Competition will take place at the Waterfront ice rink on 29 June. Organised by Skating Coordinator, Kayleigh Munro, the event will start at 4pm and run until 6.30pm.
This is a fun event for all the skaters who have taken part in the Learn to Skate Programme. Skaters who enter, have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of family and friends with a chance to get on the winners' podium and achieve a medal.
If you wish to enter, please register at the Waterfront reception as soon as possible.
