REVENGE was sweet for Greenock Wanderers as they finished their league campaign with a flourish against Highland.

After suffering league and shield defeats away to the Inverness side, Wanderers were in determined mood and, but for a slew of handling errors, the scoreline could have been a lot more conclusive.

But the victory was convincing enough and saw Wanderers end with a 50/50 record of 11 wins, 11 defeats.
