INTERNATIONAL rugby comes to Greenock this Sunday when Scotland under-20s take on Ireland under-20s at Fort Matilda.

The match is a warm-up game for the Junior World Cup to be contested in Tokyo next month and will feature former Greenock Wanderers player Grant Anderson.

As well as the match, a family fun day is planned from 12pm and Glasgow Warriors players will be on hand to oversee the games.

Club president, Dougie Sloan said: 'It is a great honour for Greenock Wanderers Rugby Club to host this Scotland game at Fort Matilda.

'We are also extremely proud of Grant. He now plays with Premier One champions Ayr, but still has very close ties with his old club.'

Kick-off on Sunday is at 2.30pm.
