ERSKINE Home received a welcome boost this month after Brown Street Rangers Supporters" Club held their annual Burns Supper.
The home is the Port Glasgow club"s nominated charity this year and any funds raised will go their way.
More than 100 members and friends of the club enjoyed the supper with the traditional Immortal Memory given by George Bryden, Past President of Greenock Burns Club (The Mother Club) who also entertained the company with a selection of Burns songs.
The Haggis was piped in by resident piper Bill Mooney who also gave a selection of tunes and the Address was offered by Ross Nugent.
The Toast to the Lasses was given by George Freeman with suitable reply from Iain Ross.
The highly-successful event was chaired by Iain D Macleod who revealed that later in the season the club will host a visitation from residents of Erskine when a large cheque will be presented to them on behalf of the club.
