ARTHUR (Tain) Very suddenly but peacefully in his home, 9 Culpleasant Avenue, Tain on Wednesday 16th September 2020, James "Jim" Arthur, aged 93 years, "Ross-shire's Grand Old Man of Brass" (formerly of The Grove, High Street, Tain and Port Glasgow), beloved husband of Shona, a much loved father of Alex, Ruth, Shona, George and Jean, a loving grandpa, great grandpa, great great grandpa, a dear father in law, dearly loved brother of the late Ruth and Iain and loved by all the extended family and friends. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 22nd September in St. Duthus New Cemetery, Tain at 1. p.m. For those wishing to pay their last respects the funeral cortegé will leave from the family home at 12.30 p.m, thereafter coming along Tain High Street on the way to St Duthus New Cemetery.
