I was so sorry to learn of Peters passing. I was a despatch boy in the Crown Street Co-Op when Peter was the Hoover rep in the shop. He always was very kind to me. I remember when Peter was leaving to start the Service Centre, Mr Wilson the manager at the Co, surprised Peter with a This Is Your Life Peter Gillespie at closing time in the shop. A couple of years ago I met Peter at a Port Juniors Game ( Morton must have been playing away ). He was with his old friend Gerry. It was lovely speaking to him and remembering past times. My sincerest condolences to Tom and all the family.
