GLANCY The children of the late Betty Glancy wish to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and former colleagues most sincerely for their attendance at Betty's Reception of Remains and Requiem Mass and for the overwhelming number of Mass cards, messages of sympathy and floral arrangements received in the loss of our beloved mother. Special thanks to Fr Thomas Boyle, Parish Priest, St Mary's R.C. Church, Greenock and to Mgr Charlie Cavanagh, Mgr Denis Carlin, Fr John McFadden OMI and Fr Gerard McNellis for concelebrating the Requiem Mass and Mgr Andrew McFadden for spiritual comfort. Thank you to The Ardgowan Hospice Singers led by Mrs Maureen Harrison and accompanied by Mrs Anne McGown and also Mrs Joyce Coyle for their beautiful music. Deepest thanks to Mother Anna Maria and all religious clergy and staff of The Little Sisters of the Poor, Greenock, for their spiritual support and comfort. Heartfelt thanks to Inverclyde Council Carers, Allied Support and Marie Curie for their unfailing care in past years. Everlasting gratitude to Ann Montague, Phyllis Clarke, Maureen Smith and Frances McCartney whose caring, loving support enabled Betty to remain in her own home. Grateful thanks to Roxburgh Practice, Inverclyde Royal Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Thank you to Ms Pamela Mess and all staff at Co-op Funeralcare, Greenock, for professional, dignified and caring funeral arrangements. Grateful thanks to Police Scotland for traffic control. Lastly, sincere thanks to The Tontine Hotel for the funeral reception. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. May Betty rest in peace.
