(VIADUCT ROAD & LINWOOD AVENUE, CLARKSTON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD) ORDER 2020

On the 20 December 2019 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict access to vehicular traffic on Viaduct Road & Linwood Avenue, Clarkston to facilitate the safe operation of essential Scottish Water utility works proposed to be carried out

on or near these roads.

The Order authorises the closure of Viaduct Road, Clarkston

between its junctions from Busby Road to Linwood Avenue and Linwood Avenue between its junctions from Viaduct Road to Victoria Crescent. The work will be carried out from Monday 16th January 2020 until Wednesday 17th February 2021.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.

Alternative Route: Linwood Avenue -Overlee Road - Busby Road and vice versa.
