HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PHILLIPERS, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Phillipers, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.65 Phillipers southwards for a distance of approximately 42m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via Phillipers, The Gossamers, York Way and Phillipers.


The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 September 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GRANGE ROAD, BUSHEY) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grange Road, Bushey from its junction with Heathfield Road south westwards and southwards to its junction with A411 London Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 595m, except for access.


An alternative route will be via Heathfield Road, B462 Aldenham Road, Vale Road and A411 London Road or via Grange Road, The Avenue, Finch Lane, Falconer Road and A411 London Road.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on the Road.


If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 September 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OSBORNE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Osborne Road, Watford from its junction with Sandringham Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Sandown Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 126m, except for access.


An alternative route will be via Sandringham Road, Balmoral Road and Sandown Road.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 31 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (BALDWINS LANE, CROXLEY GREEN) (PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2020 THE HERTFORDSHIRE (BALDWINS LANE, CROXLEY GREEN) (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions, no right turn restrictions, implement limited waiting and disabled persons parking places in parts of Croxley Green as specified in Schedules 1 to 4 to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Tuesday 1 September 2020.


Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected, during normal office hours, from 28 August 2020 to 9 October 2020 at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford. However due to the current COVID 19 emergency, in particular the restrictions imposed on Social Distancing, this will only be by prior arrangement tel 01992 555553. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in them, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.


SCHEDULE 1:

No waitingat any time – effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans – Parts of Baldwins Lane.

SCHEDULE 2:

Prohibition of right turns – effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans – the new egress road from Croxley Danes Free School, Baldwins Lane.

SCHEDULE 3:

Parking places effective 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday inclusive, limited to 3 hours waiting with no return within 1 hour – effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans – Part of Baldwins Lane.

SCHEDULE 4:

Disabled persons parking bays – effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans – Part of Baldwins Lane.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (LOWER HIGH STREET, WATFORD) (PRESCRIBED LEFT TURNS) ORDER 2020

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce restrictions on parts of Lower High Street, Watford as specified in the Schedules to this Notice.


Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are held on deposit at the offices of Hertfordshire County Council, Pegs Lane, Hertford. SCHEDULE 1:

No waiting at any time – effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan – at the junction of A411 Lower High Street and the access road leading to 1-4 Frogmore Cottages, Lower High Street.

SCHEDULE 2:

Prescribed left turns – effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan – All vehicles exiting Lower High Street access road leading to 1-4 Frogmore Cottages, will be required to make a left turn at its junction with A411 Lower High Street, so as to travel in the general direction of Bushey Arches.
