ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES AND CHARGES) (LUSS) (AMENDMENT) 2021
On Monday the 30th of August 2021, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which comes into operation on 1st November 2021, is required in the interests of support local economy and access to amenity for the following reasons:-
? Improving the availability of parking in close proximity local business (Luss Village Shop, Local Post Office) and the level of amenity/convenience to local residents and visitors to area;
? Improved parking space availability within the north car park, could reduce the potential for inappropriate parking on Old A82 and support road safety; and
? Proposed parking is free of charge up to 30 minutes and no return for 1 hour.

Any person, who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 16th September 2021, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
