Drainage to Rugby Pitches,
Birkmyre Park,Kilmacolm
Therugby playing pitch and the rugby training pitchare to have the drainage enhanced by the introduction of a new drainage system. Both pitches will have drainage pipes installed under the pitches andthe outfall will be takentothe nearest watercourse which is the GryfeWater. To ensure we do not contribute to flash flooding, the system will have an attenuation tank prior to the discharge into the river. The works areconsidered a'major planning' issue and there fore a public meeting is required prior to the formal planning application. The public meeting will take place at 7pm on Thursday l December at Kilmacolm Primary School. Inverclyde Council's Technical Services will present the proposal in more detail and will be available to respond to any questions.
