GOUROCK High School pupils from the 1970s are reuniting after getting in touch with each other through the Friends Reunited Website.
Organiser Aileen Cameron is hoping as many as 100 people turn up.
Aileen, who now lives in the West Midlands, and works in production for a newspaper, said: 'I still keep in touch with the people I went around with at school, but there are others we have not seen for 30 years and it would be nice to catch up and to find out what everybody is doing.' The reunion will involve a buffet and disco at The Chartroom, Inverkip Marina, on Saturday 29 March.
The party-goers, who are now in their 40s, were mostly in 3rd or 4th year at Gourock High between 1972 and 1974.
Friends of the then teenagers, who attended other schools, are also invited to attend.
Air stewardess Julie Kilgallon (43) who attended St Columba"s but was pals with some of the Gourock High pupils is looking forward to attending the event after getting back in touch with Aileen.
