A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with an attack at the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Greenock.
Sharon Gault, 41, was in the dock yesterday accused of assaulting a female by seizing her by the body, pushing her to the ground and repeatedly spitting on her face - before striking her on the head. The incident is alleged to have taken place at the complex on 27 February this year.
Gault, of Bridgend Avenue, Port Glasgow, pleaded not guilty to the charge during a brief appearance before Sheriff David Burns.
She is due to appear again later this month.
