STAFF at a Greenock gym are jumping for joy after marking the venue’s 21st birthday.
Lady Octavia Sports Centre is celebrating a landmark anniversary this year and workers at the east end facility are marking the milestone with customers at a special bash next month.
The Gamble Halls in Gourock will be the venue for a birthday party on Saturday 22 March for staff and customers past and present.
It is being held just short of the anniversary of the opening of ‘Lady O’ in May 1993.
Stewart Burns, Lady Octavia centre manager, said: “It’s a busy centre considering its location.
“It does very well and people come from Kilmacolm and further afield — it’s well attended and there’s a friendly environment because the staff and customers get on.” Tickets for the party, featuring a DJ and hot buffet, cost £5 and are available from the sports centre.
