A LUXURY superyacht made waves in more ways than one as it arrived in Greenock.
The magnificent Hampshire 2 sailed into town on Friday afternoon before berthing at James Watt Dock. She is owned by the megarich businessman Jim Ratcliffe, whose company runs Grangemouth oil refinery.
The vessel is around the same size as the Cal Mac Coruisk car ferry which is currently laid up at the dock for repairs.
Hampshire 2 boasts a helipad, sports court, sundeck and a cinema.
It’s not yet known how long the vessel will be in Greenock.
