FIREFIGHTERS are using a derelict block of high flats in Greenock to carry out a series of training exercises.
Hawick Court, which is due to be demolished next year, is being used as a training ground for 150 firefighters throughout this month and January.
Owners River Clyde Homes have allowed the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to use the building. As a result there will be restrictions in place around the use of the car park at the foot of the flats.
