Shocked passengers looked on as the 25-year-old tried to get off the McGill’s vehicle on Sunday night and landed on the pavement in Balfour Street.
She also suffered bruising to her brain, although police say her injuries were not life-threatening.
The road was closed following the incident, which took place at around 7.25pm.
