A TEENAGER has been arrested and charged with the murder of Greenock man Michael Mearns.
The 19-year-old man from Greenock is due to appear at the sheriff court tomorrow.
The development comes almost a month after 56-year-old Mr Mearns was found dying in the grounds of Greenock Cemetery.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the death of 56-year-old Michael Mearns following an incident in Greenock Cemetery."
