A GLAMOROUS Greenock girl will fly the flag for Inverclyde at a major beauty pageant.
Nicole Bonner has reached the regional finals of the Miss International Bombshell competition in Derby.
If the 26-year-old is successful there, she will fly out to Gibraltar to compete in the final next September.
Mum of one Nicole, who is originally from Larkfield but now stays in Gourock’s Royal Street, is looking forward to the glittering event.
She said: “I’m really proud to be representing my home town of Greenock at the team UK finale and hopefully make it to Gibraltar next year.
“My sash says ‘Miss Inverclyde’ on it, so it’s a big honour.
“I think I stood out as I have a lot of tattoos, which is a bit different.” Nicole entered the competition online and says she was delighted when she was voted through.
She added: “I entered the pageant online.
“There was a text vote which I got through followed by a Skype meeting with the organisers and a meet and greet in Glasgow.
“I’m really excited about the pageant. Derby Theatre is huge.” In preparation for the contest in May next year, Nicole will be touring the country with the other hopefuls.
She is keen to thank everyone who has supported her, including her number one fan — her son John.
Nicole said: “I’m doing it for my wee boy.
“It’s great that he’ll get to see me at the pageant wearing what he calls my ‘princess dress’.”
