A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a crash in Greenock this morning.
Police and fire crews rushed to the scene in Robertson Street around 8.30am.
One man was taken to Inverclyde Royal by ambulance with back and neck injuries following the incident at the junction with Ardgowan Street around 8.45am.
Greenock fire watch manager Andrew Adam said: "Two cars were involved but on our arrival everyone was safely out.
"One man was taken to the hospital in an ambulance suffering from back and neck pain.
"We assisted in making the vehicles and the road safe ."
