A SUPERFAST powerboat took to the River Clyde off Greenock to give locals a taste of what to expect at the Grand Prix of the Seas later this year.
Inverclyde will host the first Scottish P1 SuperStock race in June and there will also be a homegrown team flying the flag for the area at the event.
Boating enthusiasts Dino Zavaroni, from Wemyss Bay, and friend Gordon Wicklow, who lives in Bridge of Weir, will compete for the 'Sprit of Inverclyde' team and they were given the chance to test out their powerboat for the first time on the Clyde.
