BIG-hearted supermarket staff and shoppers dug deep to support a brave Greenock firefighter.
Colleagues at Tesco in Port Glasgow organised a bag pack in aid of Andy Adams, who suffered life-changing injuries tackling a deliberate blaze.
Their kind efforts raised £500, which will be donated to the Andy Adams appeal.
Kerris Jones, a customer experience manager at the store, said: “We know the guys at our local fire station very well and really wanted to help out in whatever way we could.
“Hopefully the money which was raised with the help of colleagues and customers will go some way to helping Andy and his family.”
