LANGBANK Primary School celebrated Burns Day recently with some help from their friends.
Pupils enjoyed a day of celebration with poetry, piano playing and dancing washed down with some traditional Scottish food and drink, thanks to Port Glasgow Tesco.
They helped serve up some haggis, Irn Bru, shortbread and oatcakes and donated stationery sets and gift cards as prizes.
Langbank Primary’s acting head teacher Simon Cundy said: “We would like to thank Tesco for their support in this; the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the whole afternoon.”
Tesco store manager Russell Houston was delighted to support a local school.
He added: “We would like to thank Langbank Primary School for including us in their Burns celebrations and for making us all feel very welcome.”
The whole afternoon was fantastic and we had a wonderful afternoon celebrating with them.”
