SIDE-STEPPING ladies are lining up for fun dance classes in Port Glasgow.
Whether its country, super 60s songs or modern chart-toppers these girls at Clune Park Resource Centre have routines to match.
Over the years the dance steps have led to lasting friendships and plenty of laughter along the way.
Line dancing instructor Cecilia Allan said: “It’s a good laugh and the ladies love it.
“I play a mixture of music, not just country and western.
“It’s a good social activity and a good way to make new friends.”
Class regular Cathie Forman added: “I started a six-week beginners course eight years ago – and I’m still learning.
“It’s been years but it still is great fun. it’s a brilliant activity.”
Friend Jean Kitchen, 70, added: “It’s not just the dancing and the music, it’s about the social aspect and meeting up with friends.
“Our teacher has the patience of a saint and she never misses a class.”
But the dancing is not as easy as it looks, as Tele reporter Lorraine Tinney will testify.
Lorraine had a go, above back right, only to find she had two left feet.
She said: “It was great fun but I think I’ll leave it to the professionals!”
The sessions run between 12.30 and 2pm every Friday and everyone is welcome.
