IT’S hats off to nursery tots who raised £200 for Ardgowan Hospice.
Youngsters at Blairmore Nursery made colourful crowns, crafts and baking during a day of activities as part of the Go Yellow appeal.
Head of centre Marie Crawford said: “We were happy to support the hospice because it is a local charity.
“The children had a great day and enjoyed a lot of yellow activities.”
Elaine McNeill, the hospice’s community development manager and Millie McFarlane who works in the hospice’s furniture store were happy to accept the cheque from the nursery.
Elaine said: “ It fantastic. Millie is an ex-pupil of the nursery.
“The children had such a fantastic time. It’s lovely they have got involved with helping the hospice at such a young age.
“There was a lot of effort put in from children, the nursery and parents.”
