SUZUKI GB have presented a recognition award to Pearson of Wemyss Bay sales manager Kenny Hyde for his unrelenting commitment to the brand and its customers over the past 20 years.

He was invited on stage to receive the honour at Suzuki GB’s recent dealer conference in Windsor, Berkshire.

Much to Kenny’s surprise the accolade was handed over by TV celebrity Ant McPartlin, one half of TV celebrity duo Ant & Dec, who are brand ambassadors for Suzuki.

Greenock-born Kenny joined Pearson Cars in 1991 as a sales executive. He was promoted to his current position in 2002, before starting his long relationship with the Suzuki brand five years later when the family-owned business won the franchise.

Kenny said: “I am delighted to have been recognised for my dedication to selling Suzuki cars, and to be surprised by Ant on the night when he presented me with my award, made it even more special and a very memorable occasion.

“Pearson Suzuki has been a great organisation to be a part of during the last two decades, and I look forward to working here for many more years to come.”

Pearson managing director David Pearson said: “I am extremely proud of Kenny, and it shows what can be achieved if you work hard.

“He has built up an excellent relationship with all of our customers and has been an integral part of the dealership for the last 26 years. The award is very well deserved.”

David is the fourth generation of his family to run the business which was started by his great grandfather more than 100 years ago.
