MORTON boss Jim Duffy has revealed Michael Tidser and Jai Quitongo could be back in action this weekend against Brechin after missing several weeks through injury.
Tidser has been out with an adductor issue while Quitongo has been plagued by a hamstring problem.
But Ton boss Duffy says the pair should be in the squad for tomorrow’s visit of Brechin to Cappielow after playing more than 70 minutes of the Ton’s development squad game against Queen’s Park on Wednesday.
He said: “They both came through the game which is important.
“Michael has been out for five or six weeks and Jai has had a bit of a stop-start season so far which has been a bit frustrating for him and us as well.
“Jai started well, got the injury at Dundee United then came back a bit during St Mirren game. We just want to get him fit and healthy and when he is, he can play for us.
"They're just niggling injuries, nothing significant. But because he's an explosive player and so quick, he has to have his muscles right.
"If that keeps happening he can get a bit demoralised. So we have to make sure he's alright before he's back in the team again but him and Michael are definitely going to be in the squad for Saturday."
