ALL schools and nurseries in Inverclyde will remain closed tomorrow.
The council made the announcement in the last few minutes.
The decision was taken after weather conditions worsened across the district during the morning.
A last minute closure announcement for today was met with anger from parents when it was only taken after 8am, when some parents had already sent their children to school.
Now the council has decided to give plenty of notice for tomorrow, with severe weather warnings in place.
The council said: "Schools and nurseries in Inverclyde will be closed to staff and pupils tomorrow, Thursday 1 March 2018."
