PUPILS at St Francis' Primary raised more than £450 for Mission Scotland with a fundraising day.
Children at the school dressed down and wore either a green, red, white, yellow or blue top to represent the Missio rosary beads.
Family and friends were invited along to a fairtrade coffee afternoon to support the school.
They were treated to tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and contributed to the school raising £457.
Missio Scotland is the Scottish branch of Pope Francis' own charity and official mission aid agency of the Catholic Church.
Donations to Missio are used to provide food, children's education, academic support, health and hygiene programmes, pastoral support, transport and with construction.
Head teacher Anne Marie Mullen, said: "The event was very well attended by parents and carers.
"Once again we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our school community who are always so willing to help others who are less fortunate than themselves."
