A LOCAL child care centre which is sponsoring the Telegraph's Teletots competition has been shortlisted for a host of top gongs.

Enchanted Forest Nursery and members of its team have reached the finals of the prestigious Scottish Nursery Management Today awards.

The company has been shortlisted for nursery group of the year and team of the year while Inverkip employee Kate Smith is a finalist in room leader of the year.

Mariessa Devlin, EFN managing director “We were delighted to win Nursery Group of the Year in 2016 and as such, we could not enter last year, so we are pleased to see the hard work and efforts of our team in what is an ever changing early years climate continuing to be recognised.

"For our Inverkip team, this is extra special achievement, as we promoted our Greenock depute manager to become their new manager in January 2018 and reaching the finals demonstrates how smooth the transition for our children and staff has been."

Winners of the Scottish NMT Nursery Awards 2018 will be presented with their trophies at a gala night on Friday August 31 at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel.

Enchanted Forest enjoys a very good reputation in the local area.

The nursery is currently offering six-months free childcare at Inverkip Nursery in our 2018 TeleTots contest.
