YOUNG designers went 'around the world' in only five days as part of a fabulous fashion camp in Kilmacolm.
Flowing flamenco skirts and dashiki African tops were just two of the internationally inspired outfits made by creative kids who attended The Fashion Class summer event at the Cargill Centre.
Marilyn Thompson, who runs the class, said the young people showed a real flair for fashion.
She said: "It was great fun.
"The theme of the summer camp was 'around the world in five days'.
"So the kids made clothes and accessories around that theme.
"For example they made Flamenco skirts and African traditional tops."
At last week's camp the children researched fashion from across the world before putting their ideas on paper.
Using their new found skills, the young people then brought their designs to life as clothes and accessories.
To tie in with the theme of the camp, they also learned important facts about the countries they were studying.
Marilyn added: "They learned languages from around the world."
At the end of the camp, the youngsters showed-off their creations at a special photoshoot.
