STAFF at Clune Park Resource Centre held a successful fun day and craft fayre.

A busy crowd turned out to find out what the centre had to offer.

There were activities to suit all ages with a variety of stalls, a bouncy castle, balloons, face painting and plenty of food and drink.

It also helped attract some new faces to the centre.

Rose McAuley, centre manager, said: “It all went really well.

"We had lots of new people who hadn’t been to the centre before.

“We had more people than we thought but with the weather staying nice people are able to enjoy the outdoors.

“The event is used to advertise the classes we have on offer and everyone seemed to enjoy it.”

The resource centre's research group took the opportunity to sell copies of their new book and community care forum Your Voice and the Wevolution movement were also respresented on the day and able to inform visitors about what they do.

The next classes at the centre, which are due to start at the beginning of September, are arts for beginners and digital photography.

Anyone interested in any of the classes or finding out more about what the Clune Park Resource Centre has to offer is asked to contact 805005.
