A LAW graduate from Greenock has been recognised for outstanding achievements in conveyancing.
Carys Magee received the accolade from Millar and Bryce, a land and property search firm, for her continued efforts and contribution in her diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
Carys, 22, completed her studies at the University of Dundee and has since started a traineeship at Your Conveyancer Ltd.
She said: “It’s great to be recognised for all the hard work over the years.
"It came as a complete surprise but I couldn’t be more delighted.
“I found the conveyancing part of my course the most interesting and I’m grateful to be working with a company that specialises in this.
“My diploma gave me a lot of practical experience which has made me feel at ease in my traineeship so far, but I’ve already learnt so much.”
Carys received £250 along with her award and is invited to this year’s Modern Conveyancing Conference where industry experts will discuss challenges affecting the conveyancing market.
Debbie Welch, sales and marketing director of Millar and Bryce, said “We are extremely proud to continue supporting this annual accolade and wish Carys the very best of luck as she begins her next step into forging a professional career.”
