A MAJOR police operation is under way amid reports a man has been stabbed in Greenock.
An air ambulance crew evacuated at least one person from the junction of Belville and Ratho streets in the last hour.
Eye witnesses told the Tele that there had been at least one person seriously injured after a major disturbance.
The surrounding area has been cordoned off as the ambulance landed in the grounds of King’s Oak Primary.
