THE discovery of a £1.2m cannabis farm in Port Glasgow ten years ago yesterday led to the arrest of a man in Fife.
Detectives from Greenock tracked him down as part of a painstaking investigation to make the apprehension.
Officers in 2008 discovered the 'sea of green' factory and £30,000 worth of equipment at an industrial unit in the Port.
A 50-year-old Chinese national is now in police custody and due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
