Detectives at Greenock are closing in on the suspects
ROBBERS forced their way into a flat in Port Glasgow last night and made off with cash after assaulting the male householder.
A man and a woman are today being hunted by detectives in relation to the incident on Wilson Street.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Young, of Greenock CID, said today that the 51-year-old victim had been left 'shaken up' by the physical assault and robbery but did not require medical treatment.
DS Young said: "We are following a positive line of inquiry but still appealing for anyone who saw a man and woman in Wilson Street between 7.30pm and 7.45pm last night to contact us on the 101 number."
