CUPPAS, cake and good company were all on offer at Mount Kirk as members of the congregation gathered for a charity event.
The Dempster Street church held a successful fundraising coffee morning, raising £700 for charity.
The social committee organised the get together as part of the annual 'world's biggest coffee morning' in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Minister Francis Murphy said he was delighted with the contribution everyone was able to make to such a worthwhile cause.
He told the Telegraph: "It was a good turnout for the day and we are pleased at the amount of money we raised for the charity.
"Everyone recognises the work Macmillan does in caring for cancer patients, not just in our community but right across the country.
"It is something that touches every family at some point and there are families in our congregation who have been affected by cancer."
Reverend Murphy says the church has an active social committee who organise lots of fundraising events and gatherings throughout the year.
They are also keen to bring people into the church.
The minister said: "It's important that some of the events involve people from the wider community and not just from the congregation."
