A FUN coffee afternoon stirred up some superb support for Macmillan nurses.
The event was hosted by Crown Care Day Centre in Greenock's Tobago Street and was organised by their new activities co-ordinator Jaswinder Kaur.
The day centre offers facilities for over-50s with health concerns who are lonely or who want to socialise with people their own age.
Jaswinder was delighted with the success of the charity event.
She told the Tele: "We were delighted to raise £207.
"The staff and I were completely chuffed with the turnout and the amount of money everyone raised with their kind donations and cakes.
"We had a absolutely brilliant turnout and had the Clydeside Singers to entertain us all."
Family members were invited to the event as well residents from Sir Gabriel Wood's Mariners' Home and Campbell Snowdon House.
Inverclyde MSP Stuart McMillan also went along to support the fundraiser and the Tele was there too.
Jaswinder said: "There was was certainly plenty of singing dancing.
"All the service users at Crown Care had a brilliant time."
