LITTLE stage stars shone brightly as they put on a dazzling school nativity.

The talented tots at Ardgowan Primary sang their hearts out at the sparkling school show.

Entitled 'The Inn-spectors', the show had audiences in fits of laughter as the children put their own personalities into the polished performance.

Head teacher Emma Picken says the children, who are in five classes across P1 and P2, are a credit to the school, their families and the wider school community.

She said: "The children had a dress rehearsal in front of an audience of older pupils and children from Glenpark Early Learning Centre.

"Then on Thursday the P1 parents came along and on Friday, the P2 parents attended alongside our VIPs, who support the school community.

"The shows have been a sell out too, which was amazing."

To ease the financial cost of Christmas on families this year, the school made a few changes.

Mrs Picken added: "There was no cost for a ticket but parents could donate at the door."

Mrs Picken was keen to thank the principal teacher Mrs Moore for putting the show together.

She added: "Mrs Moore has done a wonderful job of leading and directing the nativity.

"I would also like to say a special thanks to all the teaching staff for putting is so much effort."
